Based on an original drawing of Jacob Celnikier, the official stamp of the French Pavilion was produced in partnership with the La Poste Group. Light, the architectural theme of the French Pavilion, was the source of inspiration for the design of the stamp: special silver and iridescent inks were applied to the surfaces, to highlight them through a play of shadows and reflections. The stamp was unveiled during a visit to Boulazac, in the stamp and security products printing plant, where expertise and know-how are combined. It was produced by operators using mechanical machines weighing several tonnes, worthy of modern times, which produce prints of unprecedented delicacy. The stamp has been printed in 500,000 copies and has been available for sale since 21 June 2021.
Le timbre est tiré à 500 000 exemplaires et est disponible à la vente depuis le 21 juin 2021.
